Accessibility
Our hotel and restaurants offer people with physical disabilities freedom of movement, security and independence. The entire ground floor area, including the reception desk, Restaurant Hirsch and Dorfstube, is fully accessible and can easily be accessed by individuals using wheelchairs and walking aids. The accessible toilet can easily be reached by lift. The same applies to all hotel rooms.
Allergies, food intolerances & special dietary requirements
For allergy sufferers, we offer allergy-friendly rooms (including allergy-friendly bed linen): Bolberg, Kornberg, Wiesenberg and Himmelberg. Please inform us of any food intolerances or special dietary requirements - preferably before your arrival - by e-mail or telephone. Your meals will then be prepared accordingly.
Arrival/departure
Your room will be ready for occupancy at about 3:00 p.m. Please plan to depart by no later than 11:00 a.m.

Cancellations
Cancellations are only valid if they have been made in writing and have been confirmed by the hotel in writing.
If you cancel your reservation or do not make use of the services you have booked with the hotel/restaurant, the hotel will charge you the following cancellation fees for the contractual services (in particular guest accommodation) ordered and reserved but not made use of by you, but which the hotel nevertheless offered to you:
Individual bookings
- Cancellations made up to but not including 3 days before your planned date of arrival: free of charge
- Cancellations made by 6:00 p.m. on the 3rd day before your planned date of arrival: 40% of the booked service
- Cancellations made by 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd day before your planned date of arrival: 60% of the booked service
- Cancellations made by 6:00 p.m. on the day before your planned date of arrival: 80% of the booked service
Group bookings (4 rooms or more)
- Cancellations made up to 1 month before your planned date of arrival: free of charge
- Cancellations made by 6:00 p.m. between the 29th and 14th day before your planned date of arrival: 40% of the booked service
- Cancellations made by 6:00 p.m. between the 13th day and 2nd day before your planned date of arrival: 60% of the booked service
- Cancellations made by 6:00 p.m. on the day before your planned date of arrival: 80% of the booked service
Children
Children up to 5 years of age sleep in their parents’ room free of charge (in a baby cot or extra bed). For children ages 3 and older we charge €10.00 per day for breakfast. For children ages 6 and older who sleep in their parents’ room (in an extra bed) we charge €50 per day.
Dinner
Please make your reservation early both for the Restaurant Hirsch as well as for our Stuben.
Please arrive at the Restaurant Hirsch no later than 7:30 p.m.
Dogs
You are welcome to bring your dog only after prior arrangement (dogs are not permitted in the Restaurant Hirsch and the wellness spa). When making your booking, please understand that only certain rooms (Pfaffenberg, Kobel, Rossberg, Wiesäcker and Wiesenberg) are pet friendly. As the dog owner, you are liable for any damage to furniture or other objects. We charge €15.00 per day for room cleaning. Please bring a blanket, food dish and food for your beloved four-legged friend.
Extraordinary opening hours
Please note that our Restaurant Hirsch and our Stuben are open on public holidays, such as Ascension Day, Whitsun, Corpus Christi etc., from 12 -1:30 p-m. and 6-8:30 p.m.
In the period from 5 February 2024 to 20 February 2024 inclusive (no arrival possible on 4 February 2024), from 28 October 2024 to 5 November 2024 inclusive (no arrival possible on 27 October 2024) and from 24 December 2024 to 25 December 2024 inclusive (no arrival possible on 23 December 2024) we are taking a creative break. On the days before our break, the Restaurant Hirsch and the Stuben are open during normal opening hours.
Minimum stay
A minimum stay of 2 nights applies at weekends and 3 nights on public holidays.
Non-smoking hotel
All of our rooms and suites are non-smoking! The entire house is non-smoking.
Parking
Free parking is available for our guests around the house.
Payment options
The Romantik Hotel | Restaurant Hirsch accepts the following means of payment for settling your bill:
- Cash (EUR)
- Advance payment by bank transfer
- Girocard/debit card
- Credit card (Mastercard, VISA, AMEX)
Rates
The rates are per room for one overnight stay and include an ample breakfast buffet.
The quoted rates for adults and children are per person per day, including 7%/19% VAT. The visitor’s tax is not included in the rate and will be charged on site (visitor's tax is €1.00 per person ages 16 and up per day).
Reservation
Your reservation is valid after you have sent it to us in writing via letter, fax or e-mail and after you have received our written confirmation.
The reservation of certain rooms and floors cannot be guaranteed, but we will do our best to satisfy your wishes.
Trip cancellation insurance
Even if you do not wish it, sometimes you need to cancel a booked holiday or you may need to leave early. That’s why we recommend you take out trip cancellation and trip interruption insurance. You can book a HanseMerkur cancellation insurance here.
Wi-Fi
As a Hirsch guest, you have free access to the Wi-Fi network throughout the hotel. You will receive your login password when you check in at the reception desk.
